Where does the time go? Will and Finn keep getting bigger and more active. They hang out during the day and are more awake, starting to grab at objects and focus on their surroundings. Their personalities are stating to come through too. Will can be laid back and sleeps well. Finn is laid back too but has some colic so he gets upset about his tummy and gas. In the morning is when they shine. They get up and kick their legs and we sometimes start with a little Mozart or Bach morning happy hour. While they are 12 weeks old, these developmental milestones are more in line with what you'd expect at nine weeks since they were three weeks early. But that is all perfectly normal.
These guys have had us up at night and don't seem to want to sleep long stretches (3 to 4 hours but hey, they are still little guys). We love them dearly and they are starting to give us smiles throughout the day.
Getting out for a walk in the BOB
After bath time:
Will gets my jokes, Finn.... not so much:
Will:
Will is a good sleeper. He can sleep early, he can sleep in late.
He discovered his hands about two weeks ago and was sucking his thumb this morning.
He is not as big of a fan of tummy time as his brother is.
He likes pacifiers and does not like the hiccups.
He can be a ham with his cute smiles.
Can put some weight on his legs but not much.
Will"s sensitive look....
Watch out... I will karate chop you...
Finn:
Finn can almost stand on his own! Not balanced of course and with help. But it is pretty impressive.
He loves sleeping on his tummy (supervised naps only). We can't wait until he can roll over and he can sleep on his tummy, which will likely be pretty soon as he can lift his head up and do little push ups.
He too has discovered his best friends, his hands.
He hates hiccups but hates gas even more! We do bicycle legs and tummy massages to help push out the gas.
I don't need anything... just Sophie and Mr. Teeny....
